Το πρώτο πανθεσσαλικό κύπελλο στο αγωνιστικό τάβλι(backgammon) ειναι πλέον γεγονός! Την  26 Δεκεμβρίου στο δημοτικό αναψυκτήριο Καρδίτσας στον χώρο του Παυσιλύπου διεξήχθη ο μεγάλος αγώνας.Το θερμόμετρο της αγωνίας χτύπησε ''κόκκινο'' μέσα στο χειμώνα και οι ταβλαδόροι ''εδωσαν τα ρέστα τους'' για την πρόκριση και την κατάκτηση του κυπέλλου και του χρηματικού επάθλου.Αλεπάλληλες ανατροπές και συγκρούσεις προσέφεραν αρκετη συγκίνηση στους συμμετέχοντες αλλα και στους θεατές!Τελικά μεγάλος νικητής του κυπέλλου ηταν ο Θανάσης Κάτσιος απο την Αθήνα και δεύτερος ο Γιώργος Κατόπης απο την Καρδίτσα.Η ολη διοργάνωση ηταν υποδειγματική και εγινε υπο την αιγίδα του αντιπεριφερειάρχη Βασίλη Τσιάκου ο οποίος προσέφερε και το κύπελλο.
