Διπλή ήταν η ορκωμοσία της νέας κυβέρνησης, καθώς τα περισσότερα μέλη του κυβερνητικού συμβουλίου από τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ πήραν πολιτικό όρκο και τα μέλη των ανεξάρτητων Ελλήνων θρησκευτικό όρκο. 

Οι κ.κ. Παναγιώτης Κουρουμπλής, Πάνος Καμμένος, Τέρενς Κουϊκ, Γιάννης Πανούσης, Παναγιώτης Σγουρίδης, Παναγιώτης Νικολούδης και Δημήτρης Μάρδας και οι κυρίες Μαρία Κόλλια Τσαρουχά και Έλενα Κουντουρά έδωσαν θρησκευτικό όρκο. Στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε το υπόλοιπο υπουργικό συμβούλιο που πήρε πολιτικό όρκο.
