Άγιο ειχε ηλικιωμένος που εκτράπηκε στην επαρχιακή οδο Καρδίτσας-Σμοκόβου, 2 χλμ εξω απο το Καλλιφώνι.Το αυτοκίνητο του εκτράπηκε της πορείας και έπεσε σε παρακείμενο αποστραγγιστικό κανάλι. Απο την άμορφη μάζα ανασύρθηκε ελαφρά τραυματίας ο 70χρονος οδηγός με την συνδρομή της πυροσβεστικής και του παρασχέθηκαν οι πρώτες βοήθειες στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Καρδίτσας.
