Την Τετάρτη 19 Οκτωβρίου εγκαινιάζετε η Βάση ΕΚΑΒ στον Παλαμά Καρδίτσας. Κλιμάκιο της Διοίκησης του ΕΚΑΒ με τον αντιπρόεδρο Μιλτιάδη Μυλωνά και τον αντιπρόεδρο Βασίλη Νιάκα θα πραγματοποιήσουν τα εγκαίνια της βάσης ΕΚΑΒ στις 6 απόγευμα ενώ θα ακολουθούσουν και τα εγκαίνια στις βάσεις Φαρσάλων την Πέμπτη, και Τυρνάβου την Παρασκευή.
Εγκαίνια και περιοδεία είχαν προγραμματιστεί να γίνουν ταυτόχρονα με την Περιοδεία του αναπληρωτή υπουργού Υγείας Παύλου Πολάκη ,σε νοσοκομεία και μονάδες υγείας της Θεσσαλίας, η οποία μετατέθηκε για το αμέσως επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα
