Ιλιγγιώδες πρόστιμο, ύψους 270.000 ευρώ, βεβαιώθηκε σε 67χρονο Λαρισαίο, από την πρώην Δημοτική Αστυνομία Λάρισας που, έπειτα από καταγγελία συμπολίτη του, κατηγορείται για τη θανάτωση 8 νεογέννητων κουταβιών και την κακοποίηση ενός ακόμη σκύλου. Στην αρμόδια Διεύθυνση, συνήθως ύστερα από καταγγελίες φιλοζωικών οργανώσεων, βεβαιώνονται τακτικά σε πολίτες, διοικητικές κυρώσεις και πρόστιμα. Ωστόσο, η περίπτωση του 67χρονου μάλλον δεν έχει προηγούμενο, αφού τού επιβλήθηκε πρόστιμο 30.000 ευρώ «για κάθε ζώο».
