Την κατάργηση ή την τροποποίηση διατάξεων των προηγούμενων ασφαλιστικών νόμων προωθεί η κυβέρνηση.


Οι νέες ρυθμίσεις αναμένεται να νομοθετηθούν άμεσα, καθώς ο αναπληρωτής υπουργός Κοινωνικής Ασφάλισης Δημήτρης Στρατούλης τις έχει ήδη κοινοποιήσει στη Γενική Γραμματεία της κυβέρνησης, και μετά την επεξεργασία τους θα κατατεθούν στη Βουλή υπό μορφή τροπολογίας.


Με τις αλλαγές αυτές καταργείται, μεταξύ άλλων, η ρήτρα μηδενικού ελλείμματος για τις επικουρικές συντάξεις, που οδηγούσε σε περικοπές 7% από την αρχή του έτους και 8% από την 1η Ιουλίου 2015 και μετά.


Επίσης, αναθεωρείται ο μαθηματικός τύπος για τις εφάπαξ παροχές, και ο νέος τρόπος θα διαμορφωθεί έτσι ώστε οι εφάπαξ παροχές να μην υπολείπονται από αυτές που πήραν όσοι συνταξιοδοτήθηκαν πριν τις 31/08/2013.
