  Ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης μας κ. Τιμόθεος, το διήμερο 28 και 29 Ιουνίου 2016, μετέβη στην πόλη της Καβάλας, κατόπιν προσκλήσεως του Σεβασμιωτάτου Μητροπολίτου Φιλίππων, Νεαπόλεως και Θάσου κ. Προκοπίου, προκειμένου να συμμετάσχει στις λατρευτικές εκδηλώσεις επί τη μνήμη του αγίου, ενδόξου και πανευφήμου αποστόλου Παύλου.

Το εσπέρας της 28ης Ιουνίου προεξήρχε του Εσπερινού και της ιεράς λιτανείας. Την επομένη ημέρα συλλειτούργησε με τους Σεβασμιωτάτους Μητροπολίτες Ελασσώνος κ. Χαρίτωνα και Φιλίππων, Νεαπόλεως και Θάσου κ. Προκόπιο.
