Με σούπερ τέταρτη περίοδο και πρωταγωνιστή τον Ελ Έλις η Καρδίτσα κέρδισε τον Άρη με 91-77 στην 1η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL.

Ο Αμερικανός γκαρντ έβαλε 6 σερί πόντους στο ξεκίνημα της τέταρτης περιόδου, για να ανάψει τη σπίθα να ωθήσει την ομάδα του Παπανικολόπουλου στο θετικό αποτέλεσμα, ενώ τελικά έκλεισε το ματς με 21 πόντους, 7 ριμπάουντ, 2 ασίστ. Οι γηπεδούχοι γενικά έκαναν το “μπαμ” στο τελευταίο δεκάλεπτο, τρέχοντας επιμέρους 22-8.

Πέρα από τον Έλις, εξαιρετική εμφάνιση πραγματοποίησε ο Μπράντον Τζέφερσον, που σημείωσε επίσης 21 πόντους με 6/11 τρίποντα. Ακολούθησε με 14 πόντους ο άλλοτε παίκτης του Άρη, Νόα Χόρχλερ.
