Η ηγεσία του υπουργείου παιδείας θα πρέπει άμεσα να ξεκαθαρίσει το τοπίο γύρω από τη μεταβατικότητα της σχολής Δασοπονίας που εδρεύει στην Καρδίτσα. Η υπογραφή προεδρικού διατάγματος στο οποίο δεν προβλέπεται η μεταβατικότητα, όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, προκάλεσε θλίψη και οργή στην τοπική κοινωνία, καθώς η ηγεσία του υπουργείου παιδείας, στο τέλος Απριλίου, διαβεβαίωνε ότι η σχολή μπαίνει σε καθεστώς τετραετούς μεταβατικότητας.
Αναμένουμε άμεσα να προωθηθεί σχετική διάταξη που θα διορθώνει το «λάθος» του υπουργείου. Ως αιρετή Περιφέρεια από την πρώτη στιγμή, υποστηρίξαμε ότι η τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση στη Θεσσαλία εκείνο που χρειάζεται, είναι περαιτέρω ενίσχυση και αναβάθμιση και όχι συρρίκνωση και υποβάθμιση. Συντονίζουμε τις ενέργειες μας με τους κοινοβουλευτικούς εκπροσώπους, με την ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα, με την τοπική κοινωνία, ώστε να διορθώσουμε την «παράβλεψη» (;) του υπουργείου.
