Σε πλήρη εξέλιξη βρίσκονται οι έρευνες των αστυνομικών Αρχών για τον εντοπισμό και τη σύλληψη τριών (3) αγνώστων μέχρι στιγμής δραστών, οι οποίοι διέπραξαν ληστεία σε βάρος ηλικιωμένης στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Καρδίτσας.  
 
Ειδικότερα, τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες σήμερα (23-08-2014), οι άγνωστοι δράστες, φορώντας γάντια και κουκούλες, τύπου «full face», εισήλθαν σε οικία όπου διαμένει 91χρονη ημεδαπή και με την απειλή μαχαιριού, αφαίρεσαν από κομοδίνο το χρηματικό ποσό των (2.000) ευρώ.
 
Προανάκριση διενεργεί το Τμήμα Ασφάλειας Καρδίτσας.
