Με καλό καιρό και χωρίς το τσουχτερό κρύο τελέσθει στην αναρρυθμιστική λίμνη ο Αγιασμός των Υδάτων και η κατάδυση του Σταυρού από τον Μητροπολίτη Θεσσαλιώτιδος και Φαναριοφερσάλων κκ Τιμόθεο και με την παρουσία πλήθος πιστών και των αρχών της πόλης.

Στην τελετή του Αγιασμού των Υδάτων παρέστησαν
Οι Βουλευτές ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Σπύρος Λάππας και Χρυσούλα Κατσαβριά Σιωροπούλου ,ΝΔ Κώστας Τσιάρας ο αντιπεριφερειάρχης Καρδίτσας Βασίλης Τσιάκος ,ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας Φώτης Αλεξάκος ο Δήμαρχος Πλαστήρα Δημήτρης Τσιαντής ,ο θεματικός αντιπεριφερειάρχης Ορέστης Ψαχούλας ο πρόεδρος του Δημοτικού Συμβούλιου Καρδίτσας Κλεομένης Γιαννέλος, αντιδήμαρχοι, περιφερειακοί σύμβουλοι καθώς και δημοτικοί σύμβουλοι εκπρόσωποι των κομμάτων, πολιτευτές και πλήθος πιστών

Πέντε οι τολμηροί που βούτηξαν στα νερά της λίμνης με τα αδέλφια Αντώνη και Αγγελος Καβαλάρης να ανασύρουν τον σταυρό.
