Ο καιρός χάλασε τα σχέδια για τα κούλουμα στην Καρδίτσα όχι όμως την διάθεση. Στον Παλαμά είχαν προγραμματιστεί εορταστικές εκδηλώσεις με χορευτικά και το παραδοσιακό γαϊτανάκι άλλα η έντονη βροχόπτωση και το ανοιξιάτικο κρύο δεν επέτρεψαν τις εκδηλώσεις.

Ωστόσο τα παραδοσιακά κούλουμα συνεχίστηκαν κανονικά με πλήθος κόσμο και σε αυτοσχέδιες κατασκευές.
Στην κεντρική πλατεία του Μάρκου σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένο χώρο γιορταστήκαν κανονικά τα κούλουμα
Και στην Ματαραγκα ο σύλλογος γυναικών σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένους χώρους στην κεντρική πλατεία μοίρασαν την παραδοσιακή φασολάδα και τα νηστίσιμα.
Οι επισκέπτες στον Νομό Καρδίτσας ξεπέρασαν κάθε προσδοκία άλλα ο καιρός χάλασε τα σχέδια και μετά εμποδίων γιορτάστηκε σε όλο το Νομό η αρχή της Σαρακοστής
