Εκφράζω την βαθειά θλίψη μου για την απώλεια του Γιώργου Πράντζου, ενός εξόχου ανδρός της Καρδίτσας και απευθύνω τα πιο εγκάρδια συλλυπητήρια προς την σύζυγό του και τα παιδιά του.

  Ο Γιώργος Πράντζος υπήρξε ένας διαπρεπής επιστήμων, ένας έντιμος άνθρωπος, ένας φιλελεύθερος και δημοκρατικός πολίτης και ο θάνατός του αφήνει ένα δυσαναπλήρωτο κενό στην επιστημονική, κοινωνική και πολιτική ζωή της πόλης μας.  Η μνήμη του θα συνοδεύει όλους όσους τον γνώρισαν.
