Η ανθρωπιά περίσσευε το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής στο γήπεδο του Μασχολουρίου. Στο πλαίσιο του γιορταστικού κλίματος των ημερών διοργανώθηκε φιλανθρωπική ποδοσφαιρική συνάντηση μεταξύ παλαίμαχων ποδοσφαιριστών του Δήμου Σοφάδων και παρά το τσουχτερό κρύο η ανταπόκριση ήταν μεγάλη.

 

Αλλωστε ο σκοπός ήταν ιερός καθώς τα έσοδα του αγώνα θα διατεθούν σε ανθρώπους της περιοχής, που η συνεχής οικονομική κρίση τους έκανε να έχουν ανάγκη της βοήθειας όλων μας. 

 

Ολοι όσοι αγωνίστηκαν απέδειξαν ότι η η αγάπη, η αλληλεγγύη και η προσφορά είναι το μοναδικό «κεφάλαιο» που έμεινε ανεπηρέαστο. 

 

Δυστυχώς, για πολλούς συνανθρώπους μας τα αυτονόητα δεν είναι δεδομένα. Και με τη συμμετοχή τους οι ποδοσφαιριστές αλλά και ο κόσμος που αψήφησε της δυσχερείς καιρικές συνθήκες, έδειξαν ότι μπορούμε να είμαστε δίπλα σε όσους μας έχουν ανάγκη. 

 

Τα έσοδα του αγώνα παραδόθηκαν στη Δημ. Αρχή Σοφάδων και ήδη υπήρξε μέριμνα για την ανακούφιση ανθρώπων που έχουν άμεση ανάγκη.
