Με απόφαση της Δημοτικής αρχής Καρδίτσας την Τετάρτη 16 Φεβρουαρίου τα σχολεία της Πρωτοβάθμιας και Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης λόγω των αντίξοων καιρικών συνθηκών και των χαμηλών θερμοκρασιών που επικρατούν θα παραμείνουν κλειστά. Οι  δημοτικοί παιδικοί και Βρεφονηπιακοί σταθμοί θα λειτουργήσουν κανονικά.
