Ξεπερνούν τους 50.000 οι ιδιοκτήτες ΙΧ που έχουν παραδώσει τις πινακίδες εφέτος για να μην καταβάλουν τα παράλογα τέλη κυκλοφορίας και να αποφύγουν τα τεκμήρια και τον αδικαιολόγητο φόρο πολυτελείας (για αυτοκίνητα άνω των 2.000 κυβικών).

Παράγοντες του υπουργείου Οικονομικών φοβούνται ότι φέτος ο συνολικός αριθμός των οδηγών που θα παραδώσουν πινακίδες μπορεί να ξεπεράσει τους 135.000, δηλαδή τον περσινό αριθμό ιδιοκτητών που παρέδωσαν πινακίδες. Αν αυτό συμβεί, τότε οι απώλειες εσόδων θα είναι μεγαλύτερες από τα 50.000.000 ευρώ που έχουν ήδη προϋπολογιστεί.
