Τον ιδιωτικό χώρο στην Καρδίτσα, όπου φιλοξενούνται προσωρινά 30 Σύριοι πρόσφυγες επισκέφθηκε την Δευτέρα 18/4 ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας κ. Φωτ. Αλεξάκος.
            Τον κ. Δήμαρχο συνόδευαν η Αντιδήμαρχος Εθελοντισμού, Ειδικών Πληθυσμιακών
– Κοινωνικών Ομάδων & Αλληλεγγύης κ. Ελ. Αντωνίου και εθελοντές του Δήμου που μετέφεραν είδη ένδυσης και υπόδυσης, καθώς και τρόφιμα που συγκεντρώθηκαν από προσφορές μαθητών στο πλαίσιο πρωτοβουλίας της Δ/νσης Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης, αλλά και από δωρεές συμπολιτών.
            Ο κ. Αλεξάκος περιηγήθηκε στο χώρο, - όπου βρίσκονταν επίσης η βουλευτής του Νομού κ. Χρ. Κατσιαβριά- Σιωροπούλου, καθώς και η Δημοτική Σύμβουλος κ. Μαρ. Αμπατζή μαζί με αλληλέγγυους συμπολίτες-  και συνομίλησε με πρόσφυγες, οι οποίοι εξέφρασαν την ικανοποίησή τους για τις συνθήκες φιλοξενίας τους και τις ευχαριστίες τους προς τους Καρδιτσιώτες για την αλληλεγγύη τους.
