Σε μια από τις πρόσφατες δράσεις τους, οι μαθητές των τμημάτων της Β' και Γ' τάξης του 1ου ΕΠΑΛ Καρδίτσας, της Ειδικότητας Κομμωτικής και Αισθητικής, στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος Αγωγή Υγείας, πραγματοποίησαν εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στο χώρο της Διεθνούς Έκθεσης της Θεσσαλονίκης, που φιλοξενούσε την έκθεση "BEAUTY". Συνοδοί καθηγητές ήταν η υποδιευθύντρια κα. Λάππα Βάνα, και οι εκπαιδευτικοί της Ειδικότητας κα. Κατρακυλάκη Εύη και κα. Χαβρουζά Κωνσταντίνα Εκεί οι μαθητές ενημερώθηκαν από τους ειδικούς για καινοτόμες τεχνικές που αφορούν τις εξελίξεις και τις νέες τεχνολογίες σε ζητήματα της Ειδικότητάς τους. 

Οι Ειδικότητες Κομμωτικής και Αισθητικής  λειτουργούν φέτος για δεύτερη χρονιά στο 1ο ΕΠΑ.Λ. με ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία. Οι Ειδικότητες αυτές έλλειπαν έως τώρα από το πρωϊνό ωράριο της Επαγγελματικής Εκπαίδευσης, και τώρα με τη λειτουργία στο 1ο ΕΠΑ.Λ., καλύπτεται  ένα πάγιο αίτημα των μαθητών που θέλουν να τις σπουδάσουν. Όσοι μαθητές ενδιαφέρονται για την επόμενη σχολική χρονιά να εγγραφούν στα τμήματα αυτά, μπορούν να απευθύνουν τα ερωτήματά τους στη Γραμματεία του 1ου ΕΠΑ.Λ. (έναντι Πυροσβεστικής).
