Για τη Δημοκρατία της Κιργιζίας, ενός κράτους της κεντρικής Ασίας, οι κυνομαχίες όχι μόνο είναι νόμιμες αλλά επιβάλλονται για την διαιώνιση του καλύτερου της ασιατικής ράτσας Shepherd.

Στην πρωτεύουσα της χώρας Μπισκέκ, τουλάχιστον 20 ιδιοκτήτες σκυλιώνυποχρέωσαν τα ζώα τους να αγωνιστούν για τον τίτλο του πρωταθλητή της ράτσας.

Ο αγώνας διοργανώθηκε από σύλλογο εκτροφέων σκύλων με σκοπό την εύρεση του σκύλου που θα βελτιώσει τη ράτσα.
