Ο αρεοπαγίτης υπηρεσίας του Αρείου Πάγου απέρριψε την αίτηση του υπουργείου Οικονομικών που ζητούσε να εκδοθεί προσωρινή διαταγή με την οποία να «παγώνει» η απόφαση του Πρωτοδικείου Αθηνών, που δικαίωνε τις καθαρίστριες του υπουργείου Οικονομικών.

Παράλληλα, το υπουργείο Οικονομικών κατέθεσε αίτημα αναστολής της απόφασης του Πρωτοδικείου με την οποία δικαιώθηκαν οι καθαρίστριες και ο Άρειος Πάγος προσδιόρισε να συζητηθεί το αίτημα αυτό στις 10 Ιουνίου 2014.

Ακόμη, το υπουργείο Οικονομικών κατέθεσε και αίτημα αναίρεσης της επίμαχης απόφασης του Πρωτοδικείου Αθηνών.
